The plan
This is a standard youth night activity, 7-8pm. We gather, warm up, run a 5k loop through Harvest Hills, and wrap up. Walk, jog, or run, whatever pace the boys can sustain.
Spencer Miner is leading. Final route will be confirmed before the activity.
The point of this run
Kings Peak is a long day on your feet at altitude. Building aerobic capacity now makes summit day easier. A 5k is short enough that almost any boy can finish, and long enough that finishing means something.
Bonus: it is a chance to be together as the full Aaronic Priesthood across Deacons, Teachers, and Priests, with brothers and friends from other quorums.
What to wear
- Running shoes or athletic shoes
- Athletic shorts or pants
- T-shirt
- Water bottle
